Our November dahlia meeting will be held Thursday, November 5th at 7:30 PM at the Celeste Campbell Center, 155 High Street, Eugene. The topic of this meeting will be the proper digging, dividing, and storage of dahlia tubers. Society members will be set up at many work stations, giving hands-on demonstrations of tuber dividing. This is one of our most popular meetings of the year and we expect a large turnout. As always, the meeting is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!

The 52nd Annual LCDS Show
The Lane County Dahlia Society held its 52nd Annual Dahlia Show September 19-20 at the Lane County Fairgrounds in Eugene, Oregon. Exhibitors came from all over Oregon and Washington to share in a weekend of fun, friendships, and dahlias.
Thanks to some wonderful publicity, we had a huge crowd of people come through the show on Sunday. We had a nice news story about the show on TV Saturday night and we were on the front page of the City Section in our local newspaper Sunday morning.
The information table was constantly surrounded by curious members of the public. We always had 2 members on hand to answer questions and hand out free informational flyers. More than a few visitors became new members.
Below is a listing of the top 6 awards presented at our show, as well as all of the Head Table entries by members of the L.C.D.S.
